Terrence Amateur is a minor character in Back at the Barnyard. He is an Australian television host who speaks in nonsensical slang; his vocabulary occasionally includes "floppity". He is considered to be vain and short-tempered whenever things don't go right for him. He is voiced by Chris Hardwick.
Terrence first appears in the episode "Wild Mike's Dance Party", in which he is the host of a musical entertainment show called "American Barnstand". He expresses annoyance when the teenage stars of his show are too tired to dance, which to him will affect the show's ratings. Terrence's luck changes when Wild Mike drops in and makes all the teens dance with him. However, Otis and his friends break into the set disguised as teenagers to retrieve Wild Mike. Terrence tries to stop Otis, but is eventually foiled.
He also appears in the episode "Bling My Barn", only he is now the host of the eponymous home improvement series. Otis calls him and his crew over to the barnyard after he accidentally destroys the barn, while disguising him and his friends as a family. Terrence is disgusted by the appearance of the "family", but Otis changes his mind when he shows him Pig disguised as a baby. However, after Pig shows the other animals that the other family is more deserving of the makeover, so Otis reveals Pig to Terrence and his crew. Horrified and disgusted, Terrence and his crew drive away from the barnyard.
