Cow's Best Friend is an episode from Back at the Barnyard from Season 1.
Synopsis[]
After Otis saves Duke's life by pushing him away from a falling amplifier, Duke begins getting loyal to Otis and becomes devoted to helping Otis doing everything, but Otis soon becomes annoyed when Duke goes overboard.

- The part of the episode in which Otis saves Duke's life is ranked #79 during "Top 100 Greatest Moments in Nicktoon History" as part of "Superstuffed Nicktoons Weekend". Its sister episode "Cowman and Ratboy" on the other hand was ranked #19 in the countdown.
- The sound effect of Otis screaming because he ate the sandwich Duke regurgitated would be a reused sound effect throughout the series.
